The Phil and Teds Escape received a disappointing overall score of 39/100, ranking it ninth out of ten in our review of baby backpack carriers. While it features an adjustable torso and multiple storage pockets, which provide some functional advantages, these benefits are overshadowed by significant comfort issues. The carrier struggles with inadequate child comfort and a poorly designed cockpit that makes it difficult for babies to rest comfortably. Additionally, the harness adjustments are cumbersome, making it challenging to secure the child properly during use.
